Wheel

Work ended up being a bit stressful today because I spent most the morning on an online training course that I really had to attend as I've done zero CPD so far this year, but this meant I fell further behind on my to do list. The course was OK, the presenter was one who I like and I was happy that I knew most of the material covered (which I should as it is a recap course). Whilst I was on the course the new hamsters wheel arrived.

The wheel is the recommended size (28cm diameter) but seems huge. Recommendations for how to look after a hamster have come a very long way since I had one in my early teens. The photo compares the new one to the smaller and inadequate one that came with the cage. Of course so far this spoiled rotten rodent has ignored it!

Pickle's foot looks a bit better, but seems tender still. I dont think he has noticed that there is a hamster on the table yet. He is so tolerant in his old age.

It was my secong governers meeting tonight which I enjoyed.
