Diary Blip (Wednesday 1st July 2020)

It's all about the meters with me at the moment. Having sorted out how to use the new water meter I now have two new smart meters that this guy installed on Wednesday afternoon - one for electricity, one for gas, and a clever gizmo to display how much you're using (so clever that it won't actually give you a current meter reading, so that's stupid).
Unfortunately he couldn't get the SIM card that was in the electric meter to send its reading to the utility company, Social Energy, so they will have to re-book another visit with me to get it up and running.
