After The Rain

It’s the first day of July and looking out the window it could be the middle of winter.  More rain and so grey and dull.  What a depressing day.  I was cold again, so had to put the kitchen heater on and an extra layer.  Thankfully I was really busy, so no time to dwell on the awful weather.  The rain seemed to stop for a bit at lunchtime, so I risked a quick wander, but not my usual lunchtime route as I would have got very wet feet.
BB was bored in the afternoon, so decided to make some muffins.  He baked them, then he ate them.  There are not many left.
After tea, I went out for a walk.  The rain had stopped, but it was still very dreary.
At least the raindrops make a nice blip - even if a fly has photobombed.
