Stand Out
Now I'm making my way through my second summer of blipping, I feel the pressure to not repeat myself. I'm finding the same subjects appear in my viewfinder and wonder whether I'm taking the time to find a new angle. I know I blipped yarrow last year because I checked, but they were pink and this is a different shot.
What I find so challenging about photographing white flowers is showing their subtle details, without loosing their whiteness. I think a dark background helps in that regard, because the petals still look quite bright in comparison.
