Morning on Oriental Bay

This is the place that The Boss and I love walking. Its filled with locals and their kids, dogs and families but at 8C this morning was pretty empty except for hardy locals and blokes with SSD's looking for photographic interest.

we staggered over Mt Vic in the sun and chatted to some great local folk about the tidal effect that we and most others had not seen before (extra) 
The tide was coming in at the time and there where distinctive colours and patterns and almost "wave fronts" that were slowly moving. Looked magic I thought.
OH and the young lady on the seat...Was playing with her phone.
