High Summer Snow!

Apparently it rained last night. Heavily. The Mistress didn't hear a thing, but evidence of bad weather was everywhere to seen. Firstly - Snow. All around on both sets of ranges there was snow.

The on her 90 minute walk this morning, the creeks were up, lots of puddles on the road and very wet underfoot. And it was chilly!

The mistress wanted to blip the two dogs that were with her on the walk - beautiful springer spaniels with gorgeous reflections in the stream, but in the end decided the snow was what did it as it is so unusual for this time of the year. Hard to believe that day got up to 28C, and it snowed overnight!

This is the view from the south side of our house. Not sure what the mountains are called yet!
