Morning glow

Town was glowing this morning although the skies had a stormy look. The view out towards Herm in the other direction as the sun came up is in extras. the light was beautiful and I loved the golden edge that it gave to the clouds. The boathouse restaurant in this blip has not reopened yet. I imagine that is the impact of not having any visiting yachts this year and the marina being mostly empty. It is a peaceful place to sit on the deck outside.
Some of the schools have now finished for the summer holidays. The airbridge to the Isle of Man (which is also Covid free) has opened if anyone should want to travel there. I think most people have plans to travel through the tiny islands here. Herm, Alderney and Sark. 
Sadly Jersey is not yet Covid free and have today opened their borders to travellers from other countries. If we want to go there then we must self isolate for two weeks on our return to Guernsey.
Izzy and Tilly are coming for an hour after school today as both parents are busy. We must go now and collect them.
