Past their best

The Altroemerias and feeling a bit like me on this very damp and blustery day, but I did get up quite early, did the ironing, finished a project I've been doing for #2 daughter's Birthday on the 13th July, another 2 to go but think I'll be finished in time and it will be the first Birthday I will spend with my daughter in the last 15 years, or so, as we're usually in Cornwall.  Our friends have invited us to housesit again this year as they are off to their house in France tomorrow, but we've declined but hope to visit in September maybe.  To brighten myself up I've given myself a luxury pedicure and painted my toenails a 'Danny Boy, Blue'!!
