Reconciled

The day showed no sign of brightening up, so I reconciled myself to an evening walk in the rain. I expect this soldier beetle was feeling the same way.

My passage through the meadows disturbed Ringlet, Meadow Brown and a single Yellow Shell. An Oystercatcher peeped overhead.
