Letters ....

some of the letters that my father wrote to my mum during the mid to late fifties.  He was a comedy acrobat, securing an appearance on the Ed Sullivan show in the U.S and also a Royal Command performance at the London Paladium.  He spent years on tour in Europe, America and Australia.  My mum and he emigrated to Australia and spent 5 years there before my mum came "home" to have me .... thing s fell apart at that point and he never returned to the UK but became a naturalised American and remained there until he died a few years ago, having married twice more!  My mum never spoke a bad word about him even though he left her with no financial support and she kept all the letters he sent .......
