Pairs
Well, after a sterling effort by the whole household, the house photography went off without incident and, apparently, the results will be with us (or at least the estate agent) tomorrow.
Afterwards, Mr DA and I headed down to Langstone Harbour for a bit of sea air - and we certainly got plenty of that as it was very blustery indeed. It was really good to get back to the coast, though, for the first time since lockdown. We saw LOADS of egrets, including a roost of at least 20 down by the mill pond; I think these were the same ones we saw in a field further along earlier this year. There were also a few herons hanging out with them in the trees. We also saw the terns roosting on the oyster beds and the nesting rafts the RSPB have put out for them, and quite a few oystercatchers, including the pair in Extras. All in all, a very good trip out.
