Stirling Castle.

Well, it rained almost all day and we didn’t get out until nearly six. We headed for Stirling, had a brief walk at the Bannockburn Memorial then off round to Cambuskenneth. This is the view of the castle from the very flat lands of the Forth valley. Way back in the day, before this was properly cultivated, the castle must have looked truly imposing.
After the days rain, the clouds have lifted and I can now see some blue sky!
We may even have a little wander later to catch the sunset.
