Fly me to the moon

... and let me play among the stars.

The brightness of the crescent moon this morning was just about drawing level with the brightness of the sky so I thought there would be a fair chance of photographing it without burn. I stepped outside and took this as a warm up shot. Job done for the day I think.

Today is perishing cold and I expect the weather to worsen. And now I'm going to have that song in my head for the rest of the day.
