Beautiful to look at, but too cold for swimming!


Taken this morning before a breeze disturbed the surface of the water.



Out of sight to my left is the saltwater swimming baths and along to the right is the channel to the wharf, marina and the Moutere Inlet. The distant hills sit behind the city of Nelson - the water between is Tasman Bay, NZ.




I appreciated your response to yesterday’s ‘thank you card’. The colourful flower is a calendula, sitting on a slab of marble while basking in winter sunshine filtering through a window.
