Favourite

Barbara called me before lunch to invite me next door to see all her many bouquets and bunches of flowers and cards from her birthday celebrations.

She had 15 separate vases or baskets and all were beautiful. One of my favourite flowers are peony roses and she had a bunch of them. Every surface was covered in either flowers or cards - so many! She was really taken aback by how many cards she received- bless her.

It was a dreich day till evening came and boom, out came the sun so did some planting of the purchases yesterday.

Three of the gang arrived and they each got a strawberry from our bush!
