Why is a mouse?

“Why is a mouse when it spins?” my father used to ask us when we were children. We used to puzzle over the answer, and were none the wiser when he told us “because the higher it gets, the fewer!” He hadn’t heard of Blipfoto’s Silly Saturday but I think he would agree that his puzzle would be a good candidate. He also used to ask us “If a brick weighs seven pounds and half a brick, how much does a brick weigh?”. A logic test, easy once we had worked it out, but it is surprising how many people get it wrong.

I received a parcel from my sister this morning containing a lovely blue summer top. I changed into it and took selfies with my iPad to show her how good it looks.
