Lockdown II

The government seems to think it's all over, opening the pubs at 6am this morning, I didn't bother getting up to view the queues!

Anyway, regardless of the fact that I do need a haircut, I think its life as has been for the last three months for me until I'm convinced it really is over.

I went for a walk to and around Shottery this morning.  Although the children's play area is now open, with big notices telling what and what not to do, the gate to Shottery Brook Walk into the woods is still firmly padlocked, as is the the car park for Anne Hathaway's Cottage (apparently the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust who run the properties have said they won't open until the tourists return, so could be a while).  The pub in the centre of Shottery still looked closed and locked up, although the fairly new Burnside Hotel proudly displayed a We Are Open blackboard.

In other news: I received a late present from number one son, Led Zeppelin's double CD, Physical Graffiti originally released in 1975.  Excellent music....when Ann went out for a walk this afternoon I played it VERY LOUD!  Sleeves in the extras.
