Too Far Out

For a decent picture with my 70-200 lens but as they are such a novelty for me at Portobello Beach I thought I'd share them anyway. Saw some much better pictures on social media earlier on in the day (either they were closer in when the beach was quieter, or a longer lens, or a bit of both) and I didn't expect they would still be around this afternoon when the beach and water was really busy. But there they were, just off the bottom of Bath Street, for a few birdwatching bonus! A good walk along to Newhailes, looking for my next picture in my 'photographic consequences' sequence I'm doing with my photographer friend J who is currently over in Poland.
