swan family

had an evening walk by the river. Saw a couple of herons, one just visible in the top right of this photo, but they were too far away as I only had the compact with wide-angle lens. Was pleased to see the swan family coming out for a swim as they were a lot closer. The pond weed is gradually clearing. I think its all being eaten by the cygnets who are getting quite big now. .
