A Difficult Choice

It is wonderful to see such a variety of lovely birds in our garden - robins, blue tits, great tits, coal tits, different finches, blackbirds, garden sparrows, crows, even sometimes an odd pheasant and a little wren grace us with their presence.

All the birds seem to be here today but this beautiful chaffinch on our wall stole the show for me this morning.

It is the UK's second most common breeding bird and arguably the most colourful of the UK finches.
