After the storm

A sharp short storm hit the Greater Johannesburg area late afternoon, flooding parts of the CBD. We here to the east of the city missed the worst of it, and recorded 9mm of rain.

The sky cleared fairly fast, with the light changing constantly as the sun set.

Eventually I settled on this shot as my blip, taken from my usual sunset viewpoint at the kitchen door.
