Meadowsweet

The clumps of flowers look untidy and ungainly but the scent from meadowsweet is phenomenal as you walk around the reservoir.

Len found his binoculars for me today so that I could spy on the humbugs. I THINK there are still two with one choosing to remain on the back of the parent and the other swimming alongside, and also getting more morsels of fish.

Grey today, occasional drizzle but warmer than mild. Not what you would call an inspiring day.
