Day 98 – Poppies and a familiar view

It wasn’t much of a day so we only went out in the afternoon to walk along the Water of Leith Walkway from Colinton to Currie. We then headed towards Riccarton avoiding roads wherever possible, and then came back along Baberton Road, where we had never been before. Not being able to travel outwith the city has meant missing the poppy season, so I was more than happy to see these poppies in the rape fields with the skyline of Edinburgh in the distance.
