Icons in the dark
We got to see some other Byzantine chapels today and fortunately we could get in to those chapels; the past years more and more of them chapels are locked and it's a bit of a search to find who's saving the key and will use it for you.
Anyway we got into another chapel dedicated to St. George and found it's wall are covered with most beautiful icons; this is one of them. This church to Agios Giorgos dates back to 1335!
In the extra a picture what shows you how dark it actually is in a Byzantine chapel; here the opened door gave us this light indoors.
It's ofcourse the upgraded ISO that allows me to capture the icons in such little light.
Happy Sunday to you all and ofcourse I'm thinking of Rob, whose weddingday it is today... I'll drink one today to his and his beloved one
