Blowing a gale

Mr C met me after work and I drove us down to Bexhill. Originally he had planned to go on his own as only one person is allowed to visit his Great aunt in the home but when he rang last weekend to book they had gone back into lockdown. He still needed to go down and collect the post and check her bungalow. She also requested some clothes to be picked up, which is why I went down too. We did what we had to do at the bungalow and then dropped them off at the home, talking to her through the window although a little hard to hear her as she’s on the first floor :-) but we got to see her for 5 minutes.

Our plan was then to grab some fish and chips for tea and sit along the coast to eat them. Still too early to eat, we popped into Bexhill to have a walk along the front picking up a takeaway tea. Oh, my goodness it was blowing a hoolie. We walked up to the De la Warr pavilion but the wind was just too strong. We decided, rather than be uncomfortable sitting in the car to eat that we would head home and pick up dinner on the way in.

A very brief visit to the coast but it certainly blew the cobwebs away.
