Sewing workshop is open for business

The gov volunteered to make a start on the boat cover today so I jury rigged a dummy mast in the garage and we set about the task.
Much measuring and sketches on the backs of envelopes (and even sheets of A4 paper as we refined the design).
Then the initial cutting out with Auntie Clara’s 82 year old tailor’s shears. Still fabulously sharp and so easy to cut accurately when using them. Just need a large hand to be able to open them properly.
Some sewing completed and a fair bit more to do.
