Knit and natter

On my way into town to buy some carbon paper, I popped into our library to have a bit of a knit. The Knit and Natter girls are a lovely friendly bunch and we sit in the cafe sipping coffee while we create various projects. There are some hugely talented knitters who are always willing to teach new skills and help with any problems.
This is part of a blanket that I am making- it is taking a long time . In the background is the huge embroidery by the artist Alice Kettle- it covers an entire wall and has been constructed using machine embroidery.
