Tadpoles
We went for our walk earlier than usual for a Sunday this morning to try to finish before most others started out. It was a cool morning with the strong winds forecast. It is a walk we enjoy for the variety of environments and scenery with beech woods, open fields and usually the rocky edge of Wharncliffe Crags (avoided today because of the high winds.) The edge of the small reservoir was crawling with tadpoles. My attempts to photograph them both with a camera and my iPhone were not very successful with the wind rippling the water and not being able to avoid some reflection. This was the best of my attempts.
I managed to cut the grass and other tidying in the garden before we experienced a spate of rain showers. At least we have seen the sun return today.
