Kittens

So N was 40 a few weeks ago and had planned a big eventful summer.  When it was all called off she promised herself a special treat and bought a pedigree British Blue kitten to be named Rose.  Or Princess Rose.  Princess Rose is to arrive mid August. However,  a feral cat gave birth to a litter of kittens in their shed a few weeks ago. No shelter would take them as they are all healthy so the Mum is getting spayed and will be released on a farm and they have found homes for all the kittens.  Inevitably they will be keeping one, a pretty black and white girl with huge white paws caused by the fact that she has seven toes.  How we all laughed.  The kittens are coming to our morning team call one at a time to get socialised but it looks like Princess Rose will be joining a household with one cat already ensconced. The feral girl is, appropriately, to be called Bramble.
