Yewbarrow House

Another National Garden Scheme visit in better weather.  Yewbarrow House, in Grange over Sands on the Cumbrian coast has a microclimate similar to Cornwall. There is an interesting video excerpt from Gardeners World here  which tells you all about the gardens but it's 10 years old. What we saw was very much lusher than the video. Well worth a visit. Collage of other shots in extras but I just had to post this bust that is definitely not Beatrix Potter and it looks like Jane next door knows it.
