Well, today was mixed bag.  It started off well. I made shortbread; some with lavender and some with cherries, and then started salting the duck ready for confit.
In the  afternoon, the cover for the pool cover kept blowing off, the new dog water toy (which Dora hates anyway!) broke, and then my garden chair collapsed.
At which point I gave up to a glass of rosé in a lounger in the pool.
