The Roman Baths

A short distance away from yesterday's subject, is the original Bath spa, courtesy of the Romans. It's an incredible piece of living history. The main bath itself is much lower than street level so you have to go inside to see it. The extra shows the perimeter wall, with Bath Abbey in the background.

When we got home this afternoon I finished the clearance job on the cupboard of 'so much' old rubbish interspersed with some absolute treasures (unfortunately all mixed together). Another test of my emotional mettle!
