The first sketch

There's a reason I'm called scribbler. 
Almost all my artwork, however accurate an image may emerge, begins with scribbling. 
This is an example. 
Not sure what to call it. "The Drunken Wineglass"?
An artist friend I sent it to said the glass is singing. 

I've always dated my drawings. But I didn't date this one, and I'm inclined to continue in that mode. The sequence is preserved by the binding.
