The Windhover
I remember learning Gerald Manley Hopkins' poem, The Windhover, in school and thinking what a lovely name for a kestrel it was. Had coffee and a walk on Hengistbury Head with a friend. She did, however, turn round when I showed signs of pulling my camera out of my bag. Which is why it is important to be able to go out with other photographers who don't mind you stopping every few yards to take a photo. (To be fair, she doesn't walk as far as I do anyway).
