LD 105 Collecting rain water in the woods

I was in a small patch of woodland this morning talking to someone who is working  to open up a path that has long been overgrown.

He was a bit surprised when I broke off to take this - I don't know what type of fungus it is (it was next to an old fallen limb of an oak tree , and there were two other smaller ones growing on the wood) but its rich colours  certainly caught my eye including those around it  and within the little pool of rainwater from yesterday's downpour.
