Buddha and the Snake!

After a very successful weekend at my open house, Linus and Patrizia (who bought one of my paintings!!) stayed for a visit and dinner.   While we were chatting outside the studio, Linus spotted this beautiful snake, weaving around my little Buddha statue.....we both then spent much time photographing it!   I often find one or two of these lovely snakes sunning themselves outside my studio...sometimes they cause me to jump...not because i'm scared, but because they move and startle me!   Once i found one in my sink...now that made me shriek!!!
