.... of seeing Campanula barbata, the Bearded Bellflower, in great quantities around Saas Fee and Wengen in the Swiss Alps. Easy to see how it gets it’s name. This one, raised from seed, is now planted out on a friend’s garden round the corner from where we live.

A good mornings work on the admin front and this afternoon I even managed to get some gardening done here, extending the small bed in the front garden to accommodate some more of the plants I brought with me back in February
