Height

Smallest cried on the walk up to school this morning, I couldn’t get much from him before it was time to go in. I think while he’s happy to be back, it’s not how it should be and maybe it was all just too much.

Home to get some chores done - underlay to the tip, outgrown clothes & shoes to the Salvation Army, 3 loads of washing on the line, the ironing pile flattened and I even snuck in an episode of Homes Under The Hammer. Unfortunately MrRoly caught me in my guilty pleasure as he got in from work. A longer shift today - 5.30-11 which meant a 4.45 wake up alarm!!

After dinner we walked into town with Princess and Eldest as Eldest wants lemonade for tomorrow night. We all went to meet Smallest, although as the photo shows, that’s not going to be true for much longer. Eldest is disgusted! Ice creams from the shop on the way home to cheer up a by now, very happy Smallest.

A set of accounts done and dusted once we got in, my turn to cook but I delegated most of it to MrRoly - roast veg couscous. I want to like it but am still pretty meh about couscous.

This evening we finished Sex Education. I’m quite sad, I’ve enjoyed it but a good cliff hanger ready for series 3...
