A little ray of sunshine...
Dry and breezy today.
Finished off greasing the mower and changed the cutting blades. Will need to get the right oil to change the gearboxes and cutting bed as they didn’t get done last season.
The herd away to St Boswell’s mart with a load of lambs , but it’s still just a case of drop them off and leave.
Spent the afternoon with Littlemiss moving the combine out the workshop , digging out the hay rake , tedder and bale wrapper from their places at the back of the shed and dropping them off in another shed ready for action when needed. Put the combine back in the shed while ignoring the rattle from the engine bay that I swear wasn’t there when it was parked up last October !
Family dog plod tonight to check the cows. Next door neighbour busy at 2nd cut silage today. Hope the weather picks up for next week as we plan to do our first cut then !
It was clouding over a bit but the sun managed to shine some rays through a gap. Looked better in real life, but my iPod camera doesn’t like landscapes much ...
