Silver Spotted Skipper ...

To get ahead of the heat today we got out for our walk shortly after breakfast.  Housenick Memorial Park was our destination.

We saw such a wide variety of wildlife ... including this Silver Spotted Skipper.  Actually this is quite a common butterfly .... I just didn't know its name until now!  Thanks again to Google!

We could be headed for our first heat wave of the season as it's suppose to be in the 90's most of the week.  A heat wave is defined as 3 or more days with temps 90 or above.  Thank God for our pool!
