Dunwich Heath

Since the relaxation of lockdown, we've been venturing out to controlled open spaces.  For our first expedition since 20 March we went to Dunwich Heath on the Suffolk coast which is cared for by the National Trust.  It's a breeding ground for some rare species and there are some delightful walks through trees, along the beach or through the heather on the heath itself.  It was 30 degrees inland so it was good to get some cooler coastal breezes, enjoy a walk and a picnic.
