Tiny garden critter

This beautiful insect is about 5cm long in the body but there's not much to it. It hangs out in a potted pine at the end of the garden and I visit it almost daily.

There are many reasons to like this creature: the shiny black knobs on its arms; interesting shaped head; lovely pattern on its neck; excellent camouflage - brown with some green highlights to match the tree which has alive and dead needles; and it helps to keep down insect pests which may harm the garden.

I'm including the extra because I like its pose - looks like it's playing the piano.
