Belated birthday party

S had her birthday during lockdown but now Guernsey is operating 'new normal' in it's own bubble we could have her party. It was lovely. Dad barbecued for 11. There was a s'mores station, waffle bar, photo booth. S is very creative and the garden looked like something out of a magazine with gazebos, bunting, scatter cushions etc. There were mason jars with hydrangeas and tea lights to decorate. Her friends were lovely. They stayed until about 4. Then a few who were staying over took a picnic tea to the beach. The day was topped off with a film and pop corn. I can't believe my baby is a beautiful young lady of 17.
