With the increasing virus cases in Mexico and the opening of our town, we feel we are leaving home at the right time. While not an ideal time to travel, we made the decision away from the crazy tourist time in Zihua and visit the United States (which is also a bit virus-crazy). We are taking as many precautions as possible as we travel during these strange times. Our plane trips were good, with the middle seat vacant on both flights and everyone wearing masks at all times. Airports were mostly deserted and we were the only people at the rental car counter. So far so good.
