Day 113 - 3D tree

KG cut the lawns today.  I did a little paperwork and then carried on with my sewing.  Having got it into  2 blocks of 4 the centres wouldn't match - so some unpicking occurred.  second attempt was better but not perfect but good enough.  I now needed to work out the size of the square to go around the outside and enlisted KG's help and between us we sorted it out so tomorrow some more cutting will happen.
So today it is a real emergency blip and I had to think about what to do.  Looked in the conservatory and saw this 3D tree that I had done many years ago.  We had a demonstrator and we had to use cardboard and build up a picture - we arrived at the class late due to a prior appointment so this was a hurried catch up.  There were layers of cardboard stuck together and then painted.  I actually quite like this one and I think KG does as well as it is still on display
