Not Ground Elder
Last year I cut down the plant on the left because I thought it was ground elder. Pleased to see its recovered, it's actually astilbe . This is a little damp flower bed next to my office door. It does not get any direct sun.
The Tuesday run is taking place tomorrow Wednesday so that the picnic lunch can take place in the dry.
Day 109
155 deaths taking the total to 44,391.
A week ago I reported an outbreak of the virus in Scotland near the border with England. While the rest of Scotland had their 5 mile travel restriction lifted before the weekend, some residents of Dumfries and Galloway in areas like Gretna and Lockerbie had to stay home. There have been no new cases for a few days so Nicola lifted the local restriction today.
After pubs in England opened at the weekend, at least three have had to close again after customers tested positive for the virus.
Brazil's president tests positive for the virus which some will say he fully deserves after playing down the severity of the pandemic. Brazil has now had over 65,000 deaths and increasing.
Florida, Texas and Arizona are experiencing a second peak. As is Australia with Melbourne closing its borders. But to get things in perspective Australia has only had 106 deaths
