Interesting how quickly the cost of masks and sanitiser has fallen. Clearly there has been a dreadful failure to manage the pandemic here in the UK, but there have also been some almost unnoticed successes. A great many businesses, such as banks and insurance companies, have continued to operate with staff at home. Food and other distribution chains have continued to operate with head offices emptied - a testament to their business continuity planning. And across the world manufacturing has adjusted to the new priorities.
