Day 113
This is the first time the mimosa has flowered since I have had it. It came from our last house 30 years ago. It used to come up and then die. We cut down the outsize shrub behind it and dug it up a few weeks back and hey presto the mimosa has thrived.
Another cucumber picked and a couple of radishes. More mange tout will be ready for tomorrow and maybe carrots too. Cut back some more spent raspberry canes and tied the others in. Staked the Brussels sprouts. They are a red variety which will be interesting.
Once again it is raining but the ground is so dry that we watered late afternoon
