This time last year

July 2019....we were in Alderney. Lots of lovely photos from our holiday came up on Facebook page today from a year ago. This is our favourite beach, Saye Bay. We were due to go there again this year at the end of a July but sadly all flights are cancelled until September. However we have rebooked for August 2021!

- first long drive since March! First fill up with petroleum! Drove to Guildford for husbands car to be serviced, then to friends in Farnham and back to other friends in Guildford...all in the garden. Lots of traffic on A3 which all seemed to be going fast.
- also went to Aldershot to pick up small balance bike for grandchild
- went out for something to eat for first time. Very civilised well spaced tables. Had very nice fish and chips.
