Digitalis Purpurea

Commonly known as Foxglove.  It is the original source of the heart medicine digoxin (also called digitalis or digitalin).

We were out and about among the Wicklow Hills. It lashed and lashed and we came down a route that was a bit dodgy because of the rain. Lily Mae was drenched but we were able to cure her later with a Knickerbocker Glory. Its in the inset.
